Structured riding sessions are supervised by a Coach with the assistance of therapist, trained Volunteers and Horses.

Riding activities are designed to encourage participation and the development of individual abilities, with specific goals designed for each Rider.

RDA Groups offer individual riding programmes according to the needs of each Rider within the following general fields:

Education for Riders with special needs. RDA activities have a strong learning element and can be used as a powerful educational tool.

Sport and Recreation including pathways toPara-Equestrian and Special Olympics. Other activities such as vaulting and carriage driving are also offered by some of our RDA Groups. Competitions are held amongst the RDA Groups on a regular basis.
