Happy Horses

At RDA, the welfare of our horses is at the forefront of our minds. The workload of each horse is assessed and RDA people are careful to ensure that the horses benefit from a balanced routine. Checklists and advice are available for every group to refer to and consider what their horses need.

The database records each horse and their characteristics. It can record when they last saw the farrier, when they last had worming carried out and much, much more. You can imagine that the people who built the system had to build a special “Horse” record – so that all of the relevant information that coaches, horse managers and volunteers require to meet the needs of each individual horse can be noted.
