The cost varies from group to group. In all cases, the cost to run the service is much higher than the price charged to the rider, and so each group raises funds to subsidise the cost. We may be able to help to find assistance with the rider fees so please do not hesitate to ask.
Contact your nearest group by phone or email and ask if you can become a rider. Or fill in our form and your nearest RDA group will contact you. Many groups have waiting lists but they will do their best to find a place for you.
Yes we do. Sometimes there are limits on the weight that an individual horse can carry so it will depend on the horses that are available at each RDA group.

Yes, we do. You will need to be over 14 years old. You can gain an NZQA qualification in Equine Skills if you wish.
