Be a part of your local RDA volunteer dream team
We rely on the energy and commitment of our wonderful volunteers. Being an RDA volunteer is fun and extremely rewarding. Whether you’re a horsey or non-horsey person, there is a role for you at your local RDA Group.
If you think this is for you please get in touch. Please fill in this form if you would like to volunteer. All skills are welcome and all training is provided on the job. Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age old or older. Safety checking – which includes police and reference checking – is carried out before a volunteer can start at a group.
Coaches and volunteers are an integral part of what we do. We have over 1,800 volunteers throughout the country and we’re always on the lookout for more. With your help, we can reach more riders and change more lives.
We can offer you lots of great training and support, the chance to make a positive difference in the lives of our Riders and the chance to make great friends and learn new skills.
Volunteer roles can include:
- Leading
- Side-walking
- Supporting riders before and after riding
- Assisting with horse care
- Providing ground maintenance
- Being on the Committee
- Helping with Administration
