As a registered charity we rely on the generosity of the public via individual donations, legacies, corporate sponsorship and funds from charitable and gaming trusts and foundations. We receive minimal funding from the Government.

Every gift is greatly appreciated and valued. Each gift is invested in our registered charity with care.

Travelling Coach

$2,500

Help us fund a coach who travels the country from one RDA Group to another, providing valuable one on one support for our ride teams to ensure consistency and helping the riders maximize their outcomes.

Coaches Workshop

$5,000

Contribute to our Programmes Workshops which are held annually to upskill our coaches and provide an opportunity to network and collaborate with other coaches and skilled professionals from all around the country.

Additional Skilled Volunteers

$15,000

Help us to recruit and train much needed additional volunteers. Volunteers remain the lifeblood of NZRDA, and we could not operate without them.

Support our safeguarding over a period of a year

$42,000

All our riders are deemed vulnerable, and our staff members and volunteers must be safety checked. Approximately 1,400 safety checks are completed each year.

Support 5 Coaches

$50,000

Support Coaches on their quest to achieve their NZQA recognized NZRDA coaches’ qualification. Trained coaches ensure safe and effective practices in our Riding for Disabled Groups in our local communities.
